144-Hour Visa

Travelers from 54 eligible countries can enter Beijing without a visa for up to 144 hours. You’ll need a valid passport, proof of onward travel with a confirmed seat, and—if required—a visa for your third-country destination. On arrival, head to immigration and complete the Arrival/Departure Card to obtain the 144-hour visa-free transit. Note: movement is limited to the Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei regions.
