We credit the images we use and we would rather be told about a missing credit than leave one out. This page lists where the pictures on PKX Airport Guide come from and how to reach us about any of them.
Photographs
Photographs on our guides and articles come from our own image library, which is made up of pictures licensed from stock services — Pexels, Unsplash and Freepik — under those services’ licences, together with images that came with the site when it moved to its present platform.
Where a licence requires the photographer to be named, the credit belongs with the image. If you find a photograph of yours here without the credit its licence requires, write to us and we will add it or remove the image, whichever you prefer.
Airline logos
The airline logos in our carrier directory come from Wikimedia Commons, retrieved through the logo property of each airline’s Wikidata entry. Commons hosts only freely licensed files, so licences vary from public domain to Creative Commons attribution; the file page on Commons is the authoritative record for each one.
We deliberately publish a logo only when a freely licensed file exists. Twenty-two of the fifty-five carriers in our directory therefore have no logo — their marks have never been released under a free licence, and the fair-use copies that exist elsewhere do not extend to a site like ours. Those carriers are shown as a plain tile with the airline’s IATA code instead. A blank tile is the finished design, not a missing file.
Each logo remains the property of the airline it belongs to. It is shown to identify the carrier whose page you are reading, and its presence implies no endorsement or partnership.
Flight boards and maps
The live arrivals and departures boards are supplied by a third-party flight-data service and embedded on our arrivals and departures pages. The data and the presentation belong to that provider. Map links point to the map service itself rather than reproducing its imagery.
Author photographs
Photographs of our authors are supplied by the authors themselves and are used with their permission.
Telling us about a credit
If a credit is missing, wrong, or you want an image taken down, please use our contact page and tell us which page and which image. We will correct or remove it. Formal copyright complaints can also go through our notice and takedown policy, but a plain message is enough to get an attribution fixed.
