VietJet is Vietnam's largest low-cost carrier and, since its 2011 launch, has grown to carry more domestic passengers than the flag carrier. It flies an Airbus A320-family fleet and has built its network on aggressive fare-led expansion across Southeast and Northeast Asia.
The model is strictly unbundled: the headline fare buys a seat, and baggage, meals and seat selection are all sold separately.

Planning your trip
At Beijing Daxing, VietJet Air checks in at Level 4 departures (international). Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure on domestic flights and 45 minutes before departure on international ones — Daxing is a large building, and the walk from check-in to a far gate is a real part of your timing.

- Add checked baggage online. Airport prices on a low-cost ticket are punitive.
