Royal Air Maroc is Morocco's flag carrier and joined Oneworld in 2020, the alliance's first African member. Its Casablanca hub is the strongest connecting point between Europe, West Africa and the Americas on the African continent.
The Beijing service is part of a deliberate push to build Casablanca into a link between China and Africa, and it is the only direct route between Morocco and China.
