About Colorful Guizhou Airlines
Colorful Guizhou Airlines was founded in 2015 to serve Guizhou, a mountainous province in China's southwest that has invested heavily in air links because road and rail journeys there are slow. The airline's name is the province's own tourism slogan.
It operates a small fleet of Embraer E190s and Boeing 737s on regional routes radiating from Guiyang.
Colorful Guizhou Airlines flights from Beijing Daxing
A single Daxing route to Guiyang, the provincial capital. Guizhou is one of the country's fastest-growing domestic tourism destinations — karst landscapes, the Huangguoshu waterfall, Miao and Dong villages — and this is a direct link to it from Beijing.
Colorful Guizhou Airlines serves one destination from PKX: Guiyang.
Route lists change with the summer and winter schedules, and frequencies change more often than that. For the flights operating today, check the live arrivals and departures boards.
Planning your trip
At Beijing Daxing, Colorful Guizhou Airlines checks in at Departures level 4. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure on domestic flights and 45 minutes before departure on international ones — Daxing is a large building, and the walk from check-in to a far gate is a real part of your timing.
- Guiyang sits at around 1,100 m; the airport is prone to fog in winter and delays follow.
- Onward travel in Guizhou is mostly by road and slower than distances suggest — plan a buffer day.
- A small fleet means limited recovery options if a flight cancels. Travel insurance is worth it here.
Getting to the airport takes planning of its own: the Daxing Airport Express and the intercity railway are the fastest options from central Beijing, with taxis and private transfers as the door-to-door alternatives. The airport guide covers terminal layout, security and what is open landside.
