About China United Airlines
China United is the airline most tied to Daxing's existence. Until 2019 it was the sole operator at Beijing Nanyuan — a cramped former military field south of the city — and when Nanyuan closed on the night PKX opened, the entire airline moved here in one go. It was the first carrier to operate from Daxing.
It is a low-cost subsidiary of China Eastern and flies an all-Boeing 737 fleet on a network that is almost entirely domestic. Its speciality is small provincial cities that the big three do not serve from Beijing at all, which makes it disproportionately useful if you are heading somewhere off the tourist map.

The largest purely domestic operation at the airport: close to sixty Chinese destinations, plus a short international list of Vientiane and Vladivostok. Because it is a low-cost carrier, its Daxing check-in sits in the dedicated Level 3 domestic area alongside Air China's, and bags are charged separately from the fare on most tickets.

Planning your trip
At Beijing Daxing, China United Airlines checks in at Level 3 (domestic). Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure on domestic flights and 45 minutes before departure on international ones — Daxing is a large building, and the walk from check-in to a far gate is a real part of your timing.
- Fares exclude checked baggage — add it when booking, since airport rates are considerably higher.
- Many of its routes run once daily or less. A missed China United flight can mean waiting until tomorrow.
- Its network is the reason PKX beats Capital for reaching second- and third-tier Chinese cities.
