Aurora is the Russian Far East's regional airline, formed in 2013 from the merger of Vladivostok Avia and SAT Airlines, with bases at Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It flies Airbus A319s alongside turboprops on routes that are often the only practical link between remote settlements.
